Mini Caprese Skewers with Salami Roses are the kind of appetizer that makes people stop and take notice, then go back for seconds. This easy, no-cook recipe layers cherry tomatoes, mozzarella balls, and fresh basil on small skewers, then adds savory salami roses for an extra-special touch. It’s quick to prep, perfect for entertaining, and packed with flavor.
On each caprese skewer, thread in this order: one cherry tomato, one basil leaf, one mozzarella ball, another basil leaf, a second cherry tomato, a third basil leaf, and finish with a second mozzarella ball.
On each salami rose skewer, layer one dark-red grape tomato, one basil leaf, one salami rose, one mozzarella ball, a second basil leaf, another salami rose, and finish with a yellow grape tomato.
Arrange all 12 skewers on a platter in two rows. Place the ramekins of balsamic glaze to the side and tuck a few extra basil leaves in between for color.
Drizzle the Caprese skewers lightly with olive oil and sprinkle with flaky sea salt, if using, just before serving.
