Sweet and Spicy Mixed Nuts Recipe (Easy Party Snack)
This Sweet and Spicy Mixed Nuts Recipe is a quick make-ahead treat, perfect for gifting, and ideal for an easy party snack. We coat mixed nuts in a buttery maple-brown sugar glaze with smoky paprika and cayenne, then roast them until crunchy and irresistible.
Line two large rimmed baking sheets with parchment or silicone mats. Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together melted butter, maple syrup, brown sugar, smoked paprika, cayenne, chili powder, and salt until smooth.
Add the mixed nuts and toss thoroughly until every nut is evenly coated.
Spread the nuts evenly on the pans. Bake for 35–40 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes for even coating and toasting.
Let the nuts cool completely on the pans (about 35-40 minutes). They’ll crisp as they cool. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 weeks.
