Easy Air Fryer Spaghetti Squash delivers quick air fryer cooking, garlic-infused flavor, and light pasta alternative. This spaghetti squash recipe roasts the squash in the air fryer before shredding it into strands and tossing it with garlic oil and Parmesan cheese.
Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Cut the spaghetti squash in half lengthwise and scoop out the seeds.
In a small saucepan, heat the olive oil over low heat and add the whole garlic cloves. Allow to infuse for about 5-10 minutes, then remove the garlic.
Brush the cut sides of each squash half with the garlic-infused olive oil. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Place the spaghetti squash halves in the air fryer basket with the cut side facing up.
Air fry for 20-25 minutes, or until the flesh is tender and easily shredded with a fork. Remove from the air fryer and let cool slightly.
Use a fork to scrape the flesh into spaghetti-like strands. Toss the strands with grated Parmigiano Reggiano cheese and additional olive oil if desired.
Garnish with fresh basil or parsley before serving.
Notes
Cooking NotesSpaghetti squash naturally separates into long strands once cooked. Cooking it cut-side up in the air fryer helps concentrate flavor while keeping the texture tender.
