Instructions
 

  • Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Cut the spaghetti squash in half lengthwise and scoop out the seeds.
  • In a small saucepan, heat the olive oil over low heat and add the whole garlic cloves. Allow to infuse for about 5-10 minutes, then remove the garlic.
  • Brush the cut sides of each squash half with the garlic-infused olive oil. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Place the spaghetti squash halves in the air fryer basket with the cut side facing up.
  • Air fry for 20-25 minutes, or until the flesh is tender and easily shredded with a fork. Remove from the air fryer and let cool slightly.
  • Use a fork to scrape the flesh into spaghetti-like strands. Toss the strands with grated Parmigiano Reggiano cheese and additional olive oil if desired.
  • Garnish with fresh basil or parsley before serving.
