Kids Cooking Club

We believe cooking should be fun, educational, and meaningful for families. That's why we created the Kids Kitchen Explorer Club. It's an interactive community where kids (ages 6-12) cook, learn, and grow.

👋 Hi! We're the Powell Family

As a former elementary, middle, high school, and virtual school teacher, I've taught thousands of children over the years. Blending my classroom experience with a love for food, I created this community to make lessons fun, educational, and achievable for kids of all ages.

The Kitchen Explorer Skool Community

Inside our community, cooking is more than just making a snack. Each mission blends STEM, literacy, history, and nutrition with hands-on recipes kids can actually do.

Families cook together as teams, share creations in a private community, and celebrate.

What Kids Learn

  • ✔️ Ingredient Identification & Measurement: Build confidence with hands-on practice
  • ✔️ STEM Connections: Balance flavor, texture, and nutrition like a food scientist
  • ✔️ Recipe Customization: Explore creativity by adding their twist
  • ✔️ Preparation & Organization: Learn how to set up the kitchen like a pro

What's Included in the Membership

  • Cooking Missions: Printable activities
  • Creative Challenges: Journaling, projects, and enrichment tied to food
  • Community Feed: Kids post photos with their team names & cheer others on
  • Certificates: Recognition for confidence and progress

How it Works

We know families have busy schedules, so our membership gives you both flexibility and interaction:

  • Self-Paced Lessons: Families complete missions when it fits their schedule
  • Community Engagement: Share process & final photos, encourage other teams
  • Wrap-Ups: Celebrate the process & your creations

What Makes Our Club Different

We don't just hand kids a recipe. We create activities to help them think like problem-solvers, creators, and teammates.

We use food as a tool for STEM, literacy, history, and family connection. Our lessons are short, structured, and interactive, just like the best classrooms. 💛

This is us. ♥️
We began this journey together in 2020, not really knowing which direction to take. Much has changed over the years, but we remain dedicated to this endeavor. We hope you continue to visit.
