Hello! July has been a whirlwind of activity, especially with back-to-school preparations in full swing. While we are grateful for our careers, balancing it with blogging goals is always a challenge.

With that being said, we are determined not to let the progress we've made come to a halt. There is so much we want to accomplish! Here's a peek into what we've been up to and the exciting plans ahead.

Accomplishments in July

July has been productive, with several key accomplishments:

  • Content Creation: We've managed to write numerous posts this month, drawing from the abundance of content we've created over the past four years. With nearly 1,000 posts on our Instagram page, we've carefully documented recipes and photos, allowing us to recreate these improved dishes before publishing.
  • Business Organization: We've streamlined our business affairs, developing spreadsheets to diversify our income and efficiently track expenses.
  • Cooking Challenge: Our Cooking Challenge is officially up and running, which is a significant milestone. While participation hasn't been as high as hoped, we are actively working on increasing engagement by working with sponsors.
  • Email List Building: We've successfully built our email list and have a scheduled routine of updates to our subscribers, keeping them informed and engaged with our latest posts and activities.
  • Cooking Classes for Kids: We've successfully created courses for cooking classes on Outschool. This structured program is designed to engage young chefs with interactive lessons and hands-on activities, making learning fun (and delicious!). Our course curriculum covers various culinary skills, from basic techniques to advanced recipes, for ages 8-16.

Pinterest Traffic Success

Pinterest continues to be fruitful in driving traffic to the blog. Our strategy is yielding excellent results, bringing in a steady stream of new visitors and engaging a broader audience.
