Our November post is a bit late, but only because we took some time out during this holiday season to celebrate and be thankful! The most thrilling milestone for our blog? We hit our 50,000 sessions per month goal and officially applied for Mediavine! This is a huge step for us, and we feel confident that this move will set us up for continued success.

Early Retirement

With the fruitful holiday season and a positive outlook ahead, I've also made a significant, yet bittersweet decision: early retirement from teaching. While it wasn't an easy choice, I believe this will give me the time and focus needed to pursue my passion for food-blogging full time.

Accomplishments in November

November was a month of great progress:

  • Applied for Mediavine: This long anticipated milestone marks a new chapter for our blog.
  • Traffic and Income Growth: The holiday season brought a noticeable spike in traffic, a trend we hope to sustain.
  • Early Retirement Announcement: A bold step toward fully committing to growing this business.

Pinterest Traffic Success

Pinterest remains a cornerstone of our traffic strategy. November's holiday pins performed exceptionally well, with consistent engagement from both new and returning users.
