As August draws to a close, we find ourselves reflecting on how quickly the summer has slipped away. This month has been a challenging time for our family, and with school back in session, most of our days are consumed by the demands of our full-time jobs.

An top of that, recent events have led me to reevaluate where I'm focusing my time and efforts. It feels like the momentum I had built has stalled, and it’s hard not to feel a sense of loss.

Managing Through Uncertainty

Knowing this season would be tough, I tried to plan ahead by setting Pinterest on autopilot. It has been a small comfort to see the traffic grow, even when I haven’t had the energy to give it the attention it deserves.

There’s a part of me that wants to spend more time on what I love, to pour myself into something that brings me peace amidst the uncertainty. For now, it will have to be placed on the back burner, as I learn to trust the timing.

Accomplishments in August

August hasn’t been about big achievements or bold steps forward. Instead, it’s been about holding on to what we’ve already built:

  • Pinterest Management: Despite everything, our Pinterest strategy has kept traffic growth steady, offering a small but meaningful sense of continuity during a difficult time.
  • Reflective Growth: Though not as much content was created, this month has been a period of deep reflection, both on where we’ve been and on the uncertain road ahead.

Pinterest Traffic Success

Pinterest continues to be a reliable source of traffic. Even with minimal updates, the pins are still performing well and bringing in new visitors.
